STARTED PLAYING - My dad bought a table tennis table when I was about 14 and he taught me what he knew. I mostly played social and once played at the bottom league for a very short time just after I started working.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS - I remember that I once won R10 (less than 10p if converted today!) in some competition when I attended university back in South Africa many years ago.

EARLY PLAYING MEMORIES - I started playing table tennis 4 years ago from stratch, after I decided to stop playing badminton due to too many injuries.
WHEN JOINED CLUB - I played for for two seasons with Royston Club before joining Warren Spring Pirates.
EQUIPMENT USED - I am still experimenting with different blades, as I am a defensive player and I also dont have a decent forehand. My latest bat is a Tibah, 1.5mm on attack and 2mm defence.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS - This is our first season and we are currently at top position, so I am very proud of my team.
FAVOURITE SHOT - My favourite shot is either a forehand chop or a backhand smash.
OTHER SPORTS ACTIVITIES - My other interests include mainly religious studies, dog walking, and very occasionally painting and drawing
